INTERNATIONAL PHILOSOPHICAL BIBLIOGRAPHY
CD-ROM 1997-2000
The aim of the Louvain International Philosophical Bibliography is to list philosophical literature as such. Of the scientific disciplines related to philosophy, only the publications questioning the methods or the philosophy of these fields are included, together with publications of a general nature relating to the objects that they study.
In principle, the bibliography is confined to philosophical literature published in the following languages: Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Latin, Portuguese, Spanish and Catalan. Publications in other languages are only included when they are accompanied by a summary in one of the languages mentioned above.
LIPB lists the titles of books and of every miscellaneous publication (like the proceedings of a congress). All articles published in periodicals and equally all contributions appearing in miscellanies, are catalogued in the bibliography. It finally includes the more important critical notices and review articles published in the analysed periodicals.
